Qualified candidates should send their resume (Word Format) to Misti Tappe at Finance ManagerBurbank, CA - RemoteFinance Manager - Remote (PST) - Long Term ContractSummary:This position is a member of the FP&A team, which manages the overall planning, segment consolidation, and reporting process for each forecast, 5YP, and AOP. The team is responsible for interpreting and synthesizing data into meaningful analysis, reports, and presentations, enabling executive management to make actionable decisions. This team partners with stakeholders throughout various business units, and across segments both in the US and within International markets.Responsibilities:

  • Prepare management reporting and provide analysis for different audiences including senior executive management to help inform decision making
  • Support coordination and preparation of P&L forecasts, Annual Operating Plans and Five Year Plans, including cause of change and KPI analysis
  • Support overall segment consolidation for P&L and cash flow, including enhancement and updating of consolidation models
  • Review work prepared by SFA's (including cause of change, various analysis, and corporate reporting deliverables)
  • Work with key stakeholders, operating groups and finance team members to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the financial planning process, assumptions and results
  • Interact and collaborate with internal business partners to remain informed of business challenges and issues that affect our business
  • Create engaging, informative, well-organized presentations
  • Engage in ad-hoc analysis, including special projects at the request of senior management
  • Identify process improvements, and provide meaningful recommendations on efficiencies and FP&A best practices which can be implemented within the department
  • Document current FP&A processes; and create checklists which can be used for each planning cycle (e.g. forecasts, AOP, and 5YP)
  • Develop reporting for new business processes and analyze data to ensure efficient and accurate flow
Required:
  • 5-10 years in FP&A or combination of FP&A and Accounting
  • Experience with larger companies within Entertainment industry
  • Understanding of planning processes (e.g. forecasts, AOP, 5YP)
  • Consolidation experience with larger companies
  • Analytical skills and interpretation of data in a manner which can be easily articulated and explained to executive-level audiences and different stakeholders
  • Highly proficient in excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with planning tools (e.g. Cognos/TM1, Hyperion, etc.)
  • CPA Pref/Nice to have
  • Experience working with International businesses and/or business partners including impact of foreign exchange
  • Experience working in the following areas within the entertainment industry: International TV, Streaming services / SVOD, Content Licensing, Advertising, overhead
  • 4-Year degree (Business) or MBA
  • 4 Year degree (Business w Finc/Acctg focus) MBA
