Large entertainment and movie studio in Burbank, CA is looking to hire a

Level 1 IT Support Technician on a long term contract basis.

The L1 – Support Tech is responsible for providing high-quality technical support for internal clients and contractors through visits, email, phone interactions, chats, desktop sharing. The job involves handling and resolving technical and functional queries/issues from clients across the company.

Responsibilities:
  • Help resolve clients’ computers/mobile phones issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Manage client expectations regarding estimated response times for issue resolution.
  • Resolving the issues through visits, phone, chat, Remote access, and email communication channels.
  • Perform and complete all assigned service calls/requests in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Collaborate with other Technical Support team members to properly manage client inquiries and escalate when appropriate.
  • Partner with other Support team members on various strategic projects when needed
  • Own customer technical issues from initial report to resolution, communicating with customers regularly regarding issue status.

What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience supporting Windows/Mac desktops/laptops with a strong customer interaction experience.
  • Willing to work on-premises, this is not a remote position.
  • Preferable experience in supporting Mobile devices (iPhone, Android, etc)
  • Preferable experience in working with IT ticketing systems (Service-Now).
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong active listening skills and excellent written and oral communications skills.
  • Excellent Customer Service Orientation.
  • Strong attention to detail when communicating with clients (verbal & written).
