The Business Process Automation (BPA) team drives operational efficiency across Health Plan Products, Service, and Administration (HPPSA) by leveraging intelligent technology and the latest automation solutions like Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, etc. to automate and reduce manual processes across the organization.The BPA Business Analyst Specialist will be responsible for analyzing processes and data to identify business process automation opportunities. This includes managing the intake and discovery process of new opportunities, documenting processes, identifying unique steps and data sources to accomplish automation, developing business cases, collecting business requirements, evaluating the feasibility of business process automation, testing and validating BPA, identifying process optimization opportunities, evaluating and optimizing the outcomes of business process automation solutions (i.e. business value realization) and developing business cases.Essential Responsibilities:Identifying, quantifying, qualifying, socializing and supporting implementation of Automation opportunities across HPPSA.Driving detailed requirements gathering, process mapping for hand-off into development sprints.Partner with Technology teams, Operational SMEs, Production Support through agile sprints and/or offshore development to ensure BPA automations are built as needed to meet strategic objectives.Reviewing and advising the HPPSA organization on BPA project feasibility.Train and mentor junior Analysts to provide consulting expertise to teams within HPPSA.Collecting and reporting out on captured BPA benefits from the HPPSA organization.Communicating the status and progress of HPPSA BPA automation discovery process and maintain the automation Roadmap.Basic Qualifications:ExperienceMinimum seven (7) years of experience in product management, process improvement, technical consulting, Business Analysis or similar field.EducationBachelor of Science in a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics field or related field OR a minimum four (4) years of experience in a directly related field required.High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.License, Certification, RegistrationN/AAdditional Requirements:N/APreferred Qualifications:Experience building and executing product roadmaps aligned with business priorities and technology capabilities preferred.Experience driving product vision forward through collaboration and coordination with Technology teams, Operations, leadership, and business SMEs preferred.Exceptional ability to define documentation templates and create project artifacts that are appropriate to the scale of projects preferred.Extensive experience in driving requirement gathering and process mapping sessions with matrixed stakeholders preferred.High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously preferred. Knowledge or experience with robotic process automation software preferred. Knowledge or experience with agile software development preferred.Knowledge or experience with process improvement preferred.An ability to articulate and clearly communicate complex problems and solutions in a simple and logical manner preferred.Experience working through organizational change, developing and implementing creative solutions preferred.Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and decisions preferred.Six Sigma certification and experience preferred.Advanced degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics field or equivalent experience or Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred.COMPANY: KAISERTITLE: Product Manager Specialist AIS BPALOCATION: Burbank, CaliforniaREQNUMBER: 792673External hires must pass a background check/drug screen.
