Software Application Product Support Engineer - Long term Project (W2) - Remote (PST) INSPYRSolutions is Hiring! a Software Application Product Support Engineer, Long term Project with a premiere client based in Southern CA. If you're a match, please apply or contact The Product Support Engineer will be working alongside an agile development team, infrastructure engineering team and product management team to ensure technical operations for a suite of products developed using the state-of-the-art software engineering technologies and techniques. These products support a range of studio business domains from Digital Asset Management, Pre-production, Production, Post-Production, Marketing through Theatrical Distribution. The supported applications have been implemented in Java/JQuery/SQL and NodeJS/ReactJS/MongoDB.Responsibilities
- Working closely with development, QA, Infrastructure and product management teams to support/trouble shoot customer facing products related issues.
- First line of contact for customer questions/problems regarding their requests, deliveries, etc.
- Manage user accounts, such as permissions, resetting password, vendor configuration, etc.
- Some level of production release support
- Work with the business users and product management team to curate asset metadata using data migration scripts.
- Develop tools to assist the product support team to efficiently resolve issuers.
- Conduct problem identification and resolution related to products that handle distributed production, post-production and distribution workflows for digital asset management
- Identify the root cause of product related issues of a state-of-the-art SOA execution environment, including services, integration and orchestrations. Classify the issues as application, infrastructure, or end user.
- Analysis the issue and take correct course of action to resolve the issue with minimum guidance or supervision, or coordinate corrective action with team members as necessary
- Proactively build knowledge base articles and documentation with findings from issue resolution.
