Position Overview:Assesses, plans, implements, directs, supervises and evaluates direct and indirect nursing care for patients during conscious sedation in the procedure room. Coordinates activities of the procedure technician and physician to ensure safe patient care during procedures, as well as provides patient care in pre-op and PACU. Participates with other facility team members to provide optimal patient care and efficient patient flow taking into consideration the population specific needs for patients at all stages of life.Qualifications:Education/Certification/Licensure:Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing RequiredRN - Current license to practice in the State of California RequiredBLS/CPR & ACLS RequiredExperience: Significant experience working in preoperative, intraoperative and post operative units, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center. This level of experience is typically achieved in approximately one to three years.
