Together, we can help people build stronger communities - we're just getting started.The Client team is looking for a Retail Program Manager to design and develop high impact technologies that power the retail displays and demo devices. These programs drive trial and conversion for our Hardware at the point of sale by allowing customers to try our products. This role is responsible for executing the demo strategy of a complete product line from Client FRL group that are presented in all consumer facing environments including: worldwide retail and global partner events.The Retail Demo Technologies Program Manager will act as the POC for implementing Retail Demo and Display Technologies to operate cross-functionally and manage the strategic design, planning and execution of demos from prototype to End of Life. They will manage and interface with internal and external engineering resources, third party technical partners, content creators and channel marketing teams across FRL organization.Job Responsibilities:•Design and develop demo technical requirements for FRL retail demo devices and lead the product's retail launch.•Develop demo technical requirements for retail display partners globally.•Create demo best practices training and documentation for devlopers/partners.•Drive alignment between core platform/feature software roadmaps and Demo SW to ensure technical synergy with every demo install and update.•Develop and maintain scalable retail technology solutions such as content and device management systems.•Collaborate closely with Analytics teams to define KPIs, set program guidelines, develop/select the right analytics tool, review demo/display engagement metrics and build upon the data to improve the customer experiences.•Execute multiple retail demo content and software updates year-round across ARVR.•Assist stakeholders in the evaluation, selection, and revision of retail demo content.•Partner closely with the Field sales team to understand potential issues and build tech solutions that are field friendly and support fixture tech maintenance by building troubleshooting documents.•Partner with regional marketing to ensure demos meet the requirements and specifications of different retailers.•Build and track program budgets, develop RFI/RFQ documents to support with technology vendor selection, build supplier SOWs and serve as primary POC for technical vendors.•Manage day-to-day relationships with retail technical support partners and scale the relationships accordingly. Deliver programs within the constraints of scope, quality, time and budget and under circumstances involving multiple moderate-probability, moderate-impact risk factors.Minimum Qualifications:•5+ years of experience in technical project/product management, or equivalent.•Deep understanding of Hardware and Software development processes.•Understand how retail devices and interactive display technologies are developed.•Experience with bug and project tracking tools such as JIRA, Asana.•Understand how to build and maintain project trackers for complex programs.•Strong interpersonal skills, approachable and adaptable.•Excellent communicator, with good verbal and written communication•Experience with navigating various organizational environments where culture and structure varies.•Highly effective at managing conflict. Is able to address issues between stakeholders swiftly in order to maintain a positive team spirit that is consistent with Client values•Bachelor's DegreeCandidate RequirementsTop 5 must-have HARD skills:•Customer obsessed - always build requirements and retail experiences with customer in mind.•Great upstream communication with ability to raise issues immediately to management for visibility and transparency.•Ability to navigate through complex technical problems•Data driven in decision making.Good to have skills:•Knowledgeable with Android/iOS type SW development.•Retail technology domain knowledge•Device FW (low level SW) knowledge•Figma or similar tools skills for building UI prototypes.Years of experience required 5+ years of experienceDegrees or certifications requiredBachelor's Degree required in either Business or Technical field of study.DisqualifiersJust retail experience (with no technical implementation) is a disqualification. Though the job title says retail program manager, the person with retail experience needs to have worked hands on with technical implementation such as media player, device sw, retail mode development etc.Person from a non- consumer electronics background will have a very high learning curve in this role. A pure SW Engineer is not a good fit
