Responsibilities:

  • Draft contract language and negotiate business terms
  • Review of all contract documentation, including master agreements, statements of work, renewals, amendments, etc. with the appropriate supplier(s)
  • Dissemination of contract documents to the appropriate parties, externally and internally
  • Reporting responsibilities and management
  • Analytics including benchmarking and savings analysis
  • RFX preparation, coordination, execution, and analysis
  • Continuous improvement projects for sourcing business processes
  • Updates of contract templates and generation of exhibits
  • Reconciliation of discrepancies related to contract invoices with accounts payable
  • Become subject-matter expert for the organization on standard definition and systems functionality surrounding contract classifications
  • Review all contracts on a daily basis to ensure the accuracy of language with respect to approved legal templates and sourcing guidelines
  • Work directly with stakeholders, corporate finance, trust, and legal to resolve contract questions and provide updates on all contracts, PR, PO's, and invoices
  • Collection and submission of various forms necessary for the onboarding of new suppliers
  • Performing due diligence (vetting) on potential suppliers and drawing a conclusion after careful examination of the facts and information gathered
  • Provide guidance to stakeholders with respect to existing strategic suppliers they may utilize
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of practical experience in related contract, legal, or sourcing roles with an emphasis on contract drafting and interfacing with senior management
  • Law degree or related professional degree strongly desired
  • Organized and detail-oriented with excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Impeccable personal integrity and business ethics
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage dynamic workload of changing priorities
  • Team player with the ability to work independently and effectively under pressure
  • Resourceful, creative problem solver with a can-do attitude
