Location: CA or remote but needs to work in PST time zone Client: Persistent practice Role: PeopleSoft CRM Developer - Job Description PeopleSoft CRM plays a vital role as the core application in the ecosystem of applications. It is tightly integrated with many other external systems. The PeopleSoft CRM developer will be responsible for supporting existing CRM application and work on adding new functionalities / enhancements to the application. This individual will interact with various cross functional teams and business users and should be able to learn existing business functionalities quickly and dive deep into Production Issues. Responsibilities

  • Work on Production tickets on existing PeopleSoft CRM application and be able to turn around resolutions quickly.
  • Work on major enhancements / projects individually and complete the deliverables on time
  • Ability to understand customer requirements, possess clarity of thought and communication and translate business requirements/issues to Technical requirements and design
  • Create robust and scalable design and build code with good quality and support the QA team during verification
  • Provide innovative solutions to improve system stability and performance
Required Qualifications:
  • People Tools and People Code developer with 5+ years of People Tools 8.4x/8.5x/9.x skills, including:
  • People Code (strong proficiency a must), Application Designer environment, Complex SQL (PL/SQL), Application Engine, Application Packages, Process Scheduler, Application Configuration, PeopleSoft Security
  • Must have solid experience with Integration Broker and handling the integration from PeopleSoft to non-PeopleSoft applications.
  • Must have working experience with modules (Customer, Accounts, Support / Case Management, Products CRM, 360 degree customization)
  • Proficient in Oracle with PL/SQL, SQL
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Able to work independently to resolve issues and must be able to prioritize in a fast-paced changing environment
  • Ability to investigate production issues at a data level, by writing queries and examining application data.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and aggressive schedules
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Exposure to PeopleSoft Admin capabilities like maintaining Web server , Application Server , Process Scheduler is a plus
  • We are on a transformation project to upgrade from PeopleSoft CRM being the customer master to Salesforce as the master system of records. Exposure to Salesforce is a plus
