- The Software Configuration Management team at Client Mission Systems is looking for you to join our team as a Principal/ Sr. Principal Engineer - Software Configuration Management based out of Camarillo, CA.
- Process software releases for both Camarillo/Pt. Mugu, CA sites.
- Create SCM controlled software builds.
- Support and schedule Software Configuration Control Board (SCCB) meetings and Software Action
- Request (SAR) / Software Trouble Reports for In-Process (STRIP) processing.
- Support SCM process activities such as command media and homeroom directives.
- Support driving the SCM organization towards moving CM approved tools/repository to Agile tools/repository.
- This position may be filled as a Principal or Sr. Principal Engineer - Software Configuration Management.
- BS degree from an accredited institution with 9+ years of experience in the development and maintenance of real-time embedded software systems; or master's degree 7+ years of experience; or PHD 4+ years of experience.
- ClearCase, ClearQuest, GIT, various compilers,
- Office Suite (Word, Access, Excel, Outlook).
- Solid planning, organizing, and data gathering skills, as well as attention to detail.
- Strong verbal communication and customer service skills in a teamwork environment.
- Candidate must currently have an Interim or Active DOD Secret Clearance prior to start date. (If Interim Secret, Candidate must be able to obtain full Secret Clearance once started)
- Knowledge and proficiency with the tools listed above and experience with GitHub, GitLab or AWS, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, CA-Rally, Collaborator.
- 5 or more years of SCM experience.
- Active Secret Clearance.
- Prior leadership experience.
