Identify necessary training for personnel based on changing
guidelines or training requirements.
Process Reserve personnel attendance actions for training
courses.
Recommend needed training to personnel / Direct daily activities
of subordinate staff.
Educate units on policy changes to meet training goals and
objectives.
Review training materials and master training schedules to
determine unit/individual required training.
Review security procedures for regulation compliance
Develop forecast to ensure scheduled training is supported.
Communicate with other headquarters to ensure understanding of
training requirements.
Direct work of full-time subordinate staff.
Brief Command on unit training to improve readiness.
Advise staff sections on administrative tasks and
responsibilities
Perform inspections to ensure compliance with training
directives and procedures.
Submit data for budget formulation purposes to ensure funding is
available for training requirements.
Determine requirements for scheduled training.
Coordinate unit training schedules to meet program requirements.
Maintain training records in support of training activities.
Review mobilization directives for compliance with plans and
objectives.

requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid

is defined as assisting in the development of operation and training
support guidance; making recommendations on unit training and
operations to maintain readiness status; and applying budgetary
procedures to manage training resources. This definition of
specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second
lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).OREducation: I have a Ph.D. (or equivalent doctoral degree), 3
years (54 semester hours) of progressively higher level graduate
education leading to such a degree, directly related to this
position from an accredited college or university, such as Business
Administration.ORCombination of Education and Experience: A combination of
education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as
long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least
100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your
total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of
completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first
year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two

This temporary position may be extended up to a maximum of five
