- Master’s degree in Biological Science, chemistry, biochemistry, or related field. At least 6 years of total laboratory experience..
- Educational Qualifications:
- Masters with 3 years’ experience or Ph. D with 2 years in cellular biology, molecular biology, virology, or other relevant disciplines
- Proficiency with mammalian cell culture maintenance propagation and analysis including suspension and adherent cells.
- Prior experience with AAV or LV virus production is required
- Should be skilled in standard molecular biology, cell biology and viral biology techniques including transfection, transduction, virus production and quantification, qPCR, western blots, ELISA and flow cytometry
- Good understanding of lab calculations and buffer formulation is required
- Previous experience with bioreactor scale cell culture, Gene therapy process development and understanding of regulatory requirements is a plus
- Work with a sense of urgency and be able to independently design, execute and interpret experiments
- Intellectually curious and well informed on latest scientific advances
- Good record keeping, communication and presentation skills is required
