- Creative & content management/direction: management of external freelance graphic designer(s) and external advertising agency relationships for all product portfolios as related to marketing concepts, campaigns, graphics and development of materials while monitoring the project schedule to ensure timely completion and on budget. Collateral to include all new content as well as updates/revisions.
- Copywriting and collateral message creation: support the Marketing department with creative writing, editing, and review of creative copy for marketing collateral use. This includes catalogs, brochures, flyers, email, eCommerce product descriptions, etc.
- Liaison and budget management for an advertising agency and vendors for direct mail, videography, and photography.
- The US and international media planning and management: support Marketing with creation and implementation of annual media plan including monthly updates of schedule and budget. Work closely with publications on editorial planning, press release pickup, the product focuses, and publication of ZDS clinical cases and articles.
- Electronic communications and digital marketing: Support eCommerce Director on the creation and management of lead generation campaigns, email marketing, and social media.
- Manage marketing collateral process flow and approvals: electronic, hard copy, and image management, as well as internal regulatory review routing and approval.
- Support internal communications between the Sales and Marketing Departments: answer questions from Sales regarding marketing campaigns and collateral. Take requests from Sales for the creation of new sales and marketing collateral or materials.
- Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field (e.g. Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Business) or equivalent professional qualification
- 3-5+ years prior experience in marketing communications (medical device/dental marketing experience preferred)
- Proven experience in the creation and execution of successful communication strategies and marketing campaigns and programs.
- Experience with management/creative direction of the internal design team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong copywriter across all media vehicles including press releases, website content, sales, and marketing collateral, and brand presentations.
- Experience with relevant software applications; knowledge of dotDigital and/or ZOHO Marketing Hug, ZOHO CRM preferred.
- Prior website/digital marketing management experience: knowledge of basic applications and e-commerce applications (MAGENTO experience preferred).
