If you want to be part of an inclusive, adaptable, and forward-thinking organization, apply now.NTTT DATA's Client is currently seeking a Technical Project Manager - Global Network Delivery to join their team in Carlsbad, California (US-CA), United States (US).Job Description:Our Project Management practice group is currently seeking an IT Technical Project Manager that has experience with rolling out Global Network Services by aligning to business requirements with fit for purpose solutions that work reliably, scale and are administratively efficient to support global transparency and fulfillment automation, to support one of our global Healthcare devices/Life Science clients, based out of Carlsbad, CA.In this role, the IT Project Manager will be responsible for interfacing directly with global, regional, site associates and stakeholders to work through, lead and track complex network integration efforts. A successful candidate would leverage effective project management practices, perform quality control checks, working collaboratively with various divisions and cross functional teams globally while delivering cost-effective implementation exceeding stakeholder expectations.Responsibilities and Duties:Leading the Global Network Services integration team to develop an effective discovery, design, change, test, and implementation planPartner with Service Catalog Owners to provide a channel for users to request and receive standard and non-standard services through the service catalogCoordinating service transition activities across projects, suppliers, and service teamsMaintain user and customer satisfaction through efficient and professional handling of all requests for network services.Building project plans that include interdependencies between tasks and take both local and global requirements into account to ensure successful executionCoordinating all integration activities across projects, changes, suppliers, and support teams, and managing schedules, resources and conflicts where requiredEnsuring that appropriate service designs and documents are produced, and that they are handed over for service transitionMaintain customer satisfaction through efficient and professional handling of all Global Network Services integration effortsDecision-making and Autonomy (The capacity and authority to make organizational decisions, autonomy in decision-making, complexity of decisions, impact of decisions, problem-solving)Provide regular and accurate management reporting on integration status and performanceBe an ambassador for Global Network Services, working across the business to provide effective communication on integration matters and build relationships with other teams to ensure effective dialogue between departments as needed to solidify a smooth global integration process.Ensuring that integration solution designs conform to strategic, architectural, governance and corporate change management process requirementsActively collaborate with the stakeholders in a consultative role eliciting business and technical requirements and help prioritize implementation aligning to IT strategies.Effectively utilize the PM Framework, leveraging the tools like PPM, JIRA, Confluence and other collaboration tools for increased productivity.Lead team to resolve all program/project issues and constraints, effectively communicate, manage expectations, and resolve conflicts working closely with team and leadership.Build and execute operational and technical project plans, facilitate all project gate reviews and effectively escalate issues to meet the project milestones/goals.Align to business and IT priorities by effectively leveraging waterfall, iterative and Agile methodologies, while coaching and mentoring team members.Actively manage scope and change aligning to business priorities, identify risks and issues, prioritize conflicting needs, handle matters expeditiously and proactively, follow-through on projects to successful completion with minimal guidance, often with deadline pressures.Provide regular status update to the Leadership and Management team with constant drive to make improvements to the outcomes.Effectively communicate, demonstrate flexibility to support new projects and adaptable to work with global teams in different time zones and cultures, in a dynamic and evolving environment.Basic QualificationsMinimum 7 years of experience as IT project manager with minimum 3 years' experience in data networking in an enterprise environmentBachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, Information Technology, or 10 years' experience in Information Technology projects.5 + years experience in a technical environment including supporting large scale enterprise networks with hands on network engineering experienceCertified in PMP and Agile is a plusPreferred Experience and Skills:Has strong experience in PM Framework, following estimation guidelines, resource management, Quality audits, process improvements, provide training and usage of PPM tools & dashboard.Hands on network engineering experiencePrevious experience as a Team Lead or demonstrable experience in leading virtual teamsAbility to work independently with minimal direct supervisionExperience of managing 3rd parties and 3rd party delivered servicesLeverage independent Judgment to determine optimal methods of task completion and work prioritizationFirm knowledge of ITIL disciplinesAble to demonstrate a high degree of flexibility including shift and out of hours workingExcellent organizational skillsSelf-motivation and able to take responsibilityStrong communicator with effective presentation skills delivering formal presentations to various levels of management articulating project status, risk mitigations, benefits & financial
