This company is located in San Diego (Carlsbad) and will have their engineers onsite once it is safe. They are hiring for data engineers to build the back end of their application and scale out the platform. You will be working with Spark, Python, AWS, SQL, and also will do some architecture work on cloud based data lakes and data warehouses. Required Skills & Experience
- 2+ years with ETL pipelines and data integration using Python and AWS
- Strong experience with both SQL and NoSQL data bases
- Background in SQL/DBA
- Public Cloud experience: AWS Snowflake, EC2, S3
- Bachelors' or higher in computer science math, stats or comparable
- Experience with Realtime messaging is a nice to have
- Experience with Marketing/Advertising is a nice to have
- Worked on total life cycle of projects, from inception to deployment
