Job Description

Our fast-paced Creative Art Department is seeking a full-time, temporary Illustrator to join our team as we create innovative designs and illustrations for our products and product packaging. Ideal candidates must be able to take direction and transform complex information into effective visual solutions—both on time and within budget. In addition to possessing a variety of illustrative styles and techniques, applicants must be able to conceptualize ideas, sketch a blue line and convert sketches into vector artwork. We’re looking for a motivated self-starter who possesses a high degree of personal accountability, a clear sense of ownership, and the ability to adapt to change quickly in a deadline-driven environment. Collaboration is a hallmark of product development at Lakeshore, so strong communication skills and the ability to convey design ideas are key to success.

Qualifications

Responsibilities & Requirements: Minimum 5 years professional experience Advanced knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (mandatory skills testing applies) Knowledge of the entire Adobe Creative Suite Ability to conceptualize ideas and take these ideas to approval and ultimately completion. Ability to build technically sound files quickly and according to established guidelines Solid understanding of printing and production processes Ability to prioritize and multi-task to meet simultaneous demands Flexibility in schedule to meet hard deadlines
