We’re searching for a Product Developer who is creative, imaginative and inspired! A day at Lakeshore looks like this: Independently analyzing early childhood standards, market trends and performance data to recommend new product opportunities Generating and pitching new product ideas to peers and executive management Developing and driving concepts from ideation to production Improving existing products to better serve our customers Working with domestic and overseas vendors regarding a variety of product manufacturing modalities Providing clear direction and collaborating effectively with in-house designers, engineers and quality teams

Qualifications

Got the skills and experience? Here’s what we’re looking for: 3+ years of experience as a product manager/developer Experience in Education or Early Childhood Development a plus Experience leading a team also a plus Passion for creating—with a keen aesthetic sense and an eye for detail to ensure the delivery of outstanding products and play experiences Ability to independently develop ideas and use sound judgment to deliver results in line with product strategy Superb written and verbal communication skills with the ability to comfortably present product ideas and excel in a team atmosphere Excellent creative problem-solving skills Ability to question, understand and challenge development and design decisions Strong project management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere Flexible mindset that can adapt to competing priorities and deadlines Exceptional organizational skills, superb attention to detail and excellent follow-through
