Radiation Therapist - Per Diem

Position Overview:Simulate and deliver radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by a radiation oncologist.Qualifications:EducationCertificate of completion of radiation therapy training from a formal training program.Licensure and CertificationsAmerican Association Radiologic Technologists - (ARRT) (T)Certified Radiologic Technologist - CRTExperienceMinimum 1 year radiation therapist experience preferred.Skills and KnowledgeAbility to communicate effectively with patients from diverse social and cultural backgrounds, making them feel comfortable while helping to ensure a high level of patient satisfaction. This includes patients who are severely ill and incapacitated. Performance Indicator Feedback from patients, families, and caregivers.Ability to communicate and work effectively with physicians.
