GoAhead Solutions has a great opportunity for a Data Governance Platform Engineer. This would be a Full-time opportunity. This position will require to be onsite (Hybrid model at least 3 days a week in the office). Job Description: -As a key member of the Data Governance Team within the Enterprise Data & Client Insights (EDCI) department, this position will play an important role in advancing the bank s Data Governance Program. Individual will have a great opportunity to work across teams (business and technology) and key stakeholders in a highly collaborative environment. -The ideal candidate is a creative and collaborative engineer / data analyst who is passionate about data and possesses both excellent technical proficiency and strong business acumen. Extensive experience with Data Catalog tools is strongly desired. Responsibilities: -Develop and expand core Data Governance systems and applications (e.g., Data Catalog, Metadata Management). -Implement tools to support the Bank s data governance and data quality programs. -Develop customized tools using Data Catalog API layer and Python scripts. -Develop Web UI in support of Data Governance capabilities (e.g., Data Lineage, KDE Management). -Streamline management of metadata, business glossary and data lineage. -Develop and maintain data taxonomy, KDEs, data lineage and related controls/ procedures. -Analyze data quality issues to address root causes and remediate issues. -Engage with business and technology partners to document business and functional requirements. -Promote the adoption of Data Governance Program with key business partner. -Adhere to the Bank s data governance and data quality programs (policy, standards and controls). Qualifications: -Experience 5 - 7 years of financial services industry experience, preferably Data Governance. -Proficient processing complex business concepts, researching data issues and managing through remediation. -Broad exposure to data governance/ data management concepts and technologies. -Skilled analyzing data and complex data relationships. -Experience with BI reporting, including data visualization tools. -Proficient SQL and Python skills. -Experience with data management technologies and tools (e.g., MDM, ETL, Collibra). -Analytical skills to collect and profile data and compute key metrics (e.g., KPIs, KRIs). -Process design experience with process optimization mindset. -Experience with reference data and master data management. -Extensive experience presenting content to various audiences including senior management. -Consulting background or experience in consultative role working closely with business stakeholders. -Excellent presentation and documentation skills. -Requires proficiency with varied computer and network operating systems.
