Dreamcatchers Empowerment Network is a non-profit agency seeking a Full Time EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST to work with individuals with disabilities to find community employment within Butte county. Our agency provides assessments, job preparation, job placement and coaching to youth and adults with limitations and disabilities throughout California.
The position requires experience working with individuals with disabilities and/or community employment development, with a minimum of an AA degree. Experience with Case Management and/or heavy documentation is essential. Experience providing employment services is required. Clients are referred from Department of Rehabilitation and Butte County Behavioral Health and are seeking employment placement assistance. Candidate must possess Networking strengths and have the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with our Network of Community Partners. Candidates must be able to travel and maneuver within the community to meet with clients and employers on a daily basis; position is community based. Computer experience is required.
We are looking for someone who is highly organized and detail orientated, and able to work independently as well as with a team. Someone who is energetic, reliable, good communicator, and a self-starter with the ability to partner and network with employers and within the community. Flexibility is critical in providing services to our clients but also to meet the demands of the position.
Must have clean DMV, and pass background check.
