Contract to Hire Opportunity For this Desktop Support Tech position, we need candidates with software support experience and excellent customer service skills. Schedule: 8am-5pm, Mon -Friday. No overtime or on-call will be required. Overview:
- Solve a broad range of day-to-day onsite technical issues on network infrastructure and internal desktop systems
- Customize communication, instructions, and product knowledge to the level of the individual
- Determine the most cost-effective repair to minimize customer downtime
- Prepare reports for analysis
- 2+ years of related experience, or AA degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- A+ certification
- Dell and/or Lenovo laptop & desktop certifications a plus
- Windows OS knowledge (Windows 7, Windows 8.x and Windows 10)
- Microsoft Office 2007 to 2016 and Office 365
- Ability to support Outlook client
- Ability to support mobile users for network access, email support, and troubleshooting
- Ability to use SCCM Remote Desktop to deploy images to clients' desktops and laptops
- Desktop and laptop hardware knowledge
- Inventory and Asset Management experience
- Solid experience and understanding of IT services and products
- Ability to transform technical IT language into terms everyone understands
- Relatable with customers and impeccable with follow-through
