In addition to free snacks and drinks, we provide all employees with fully paid medical, dental and vision insurance, and also contribute to their 401k funds.Retail Logistics Specialist Key Responsibilities:Establish weekly ship schedules and rules for retail shipments.

Work with related departments to ensure retail shipments are received, processed, shipped, and delivered timely.

Coordinate connections with external and internal teams (Carrier, Shipper, Customer). Organizing, monitoring, tracking and resolving.

Monitoring Carrier performance – Track and Trace analytics.

Evaluate Retail Scorecards and suggest appropriate improvements to increase efficiency and better process our performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

Proactively problem solve and communicate with management appropriate improvements to increase efficiency and better process.

Assist with monitoring department metrics.

Support Management with team inquiries and intermediate issues that can be resolved with escalation.

Preferred Experience: Understands Retail Vendor Compliance: Walmart, Costco, Target, Best Buy, Office Depot, and Staples. Extensive experience using Retail Portals: Retail Link, Partners Online, Costco Hub/Costco Traffic. Strong background and/or understanding of freight brokerage, FTL, LTL and small parcel. Experience coordinating freight consolidation to retail is a plus. Experience shipping to Big Box Retailers such as: Walmart, Target, Costco is required. Strong knowledge of freight environments and maintaining carrier compliances, and carrier cost.RequirementsRequired Professional Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Exceptional analytical and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks or projects and ability to carry out multiple tasks under tight or sometimes conflicting deadlines. Adept at communicating effectively to a variety of audiences Able to balance desired business and customer outcomes Able to leverage data to support proposed solutions Willingness to embrace change and all other assigned duties for the greater good of the team and company’s need. Ability to effectively communicate with supporting teams direction and training required to resolve and prevent issues.Basic Qualifications: 5 years of transportation planning, transportation operations, or transportation analysis or bachelor’s degree in related subjects.
