Job Description
- Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, efficient, cost-effective way
- Manage timely data collection to update operations metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service
- Maintain constant communication with management, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the organization
- Develop, implement, and maintain operation protocols, Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
- Formulate and pursue strategic and operational objectives, Ensure operational activities remain on time and within a defined budget
- Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including setup and implementation of career development plans for all direct reports and problem resolution
- Grow the efficiency of existing organizational processes and procedures to enhance and sustain the organization’s internal capacity,
- Help the organization’s processes remain compliant with industry standards
- Other duties as assigned by Manage Team
Qualifications
- Ample Experience in eitherlogistics, freight forwarding, sales, orpurchase
- Mandarin Chinese preferred
- SAP experience preferred
- Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role
- Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
- Familiarity with business and financial principles
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
- Leadership ability
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Degree in Business, Operations Management or related field
