Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 0900-1830. Saturday 0800-1200. We are uniquely located in the Physician’s Office building and have a strong positive relationship with our community Physicians. The average script count per week is 600 prescriptions. We provide immunizations, blood pressure screenings, and patient education on medication/products. We are looking for pharmacists that have a commitment to being a strong team player and providing outstanding customer service. Pharmacists will typically have a technician working alongside them but will be required to be able to work alone. Pharmacists must possess the ability to operate the register and fill prescriptions on their own. The pharmacist is expected to take the time to provide one on one consultation, perform medication therapy management, be proactive and anticipate needs of the team, patients and pharmacy overall. In addition the pharmacist will precept students. In this role the pharmacist may have the opportunity to cross train in our inpatient and Long Term Care Pharmacy. The Sharp Coronado Hospital Pharmacy provides extensive clinical pharmacy services to the hospital’s inpatient and skilled nursing patients.
