- Perform day-to-day system administration activities such as user account creation and application configuration for various global systems across several business units
- Provide operational support, in the form of, system administration/configuration and subject matter expertise to ensure clinical trial systems support clinical study activities
- Document and develop detailed diagrams of business processes, as well as the supporting applications and interfaces
- Configure and test systems to execute features, integration, and reporting per Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Familiarity with validated IT systems, with the ability to write requirement documents, specification documents, and test scripts leading to the execution of validation plans
- Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot business systems, interfaces, configurations, etc., including testing and researching data integrity/accuracy
- Create system-level process flows and sequence diagrams
- Capture and document technical functional and non-functional requirements
- Define acceptance criteria, create use cases, and perform acceptance testing
- Perform data mapping between business concepts and technical constructs
- Participate in providing business systems analysis services (analyze, define, troubleshoot, design, test, deliver, maintain) with assistance from Senior Business Systems Analyst.
- Lead and/or manage small sized projects / enhancements.
- Collaborate with project leads to determine how requirements will be approached and managed for a particular project.
- Work with senior level Business Systems Analysts to develop requirements work plans, identify task dependencies; support risk management and change management activities.
- Responsible for assigned work with limited supervision to produce, specify and communicate business, system, and implementation requirements.
- Ensure the requirements are unambiguous and understandable by both business users and solution delivery teams.
- Execute the test strategy and test plans and ensure they adequately cover the requirements.
- Assist in defect resolution.
- Simultaneously support multiple initiatives as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of application architecture, application integration and basic understanding of Infrastructure fundamental such as server, database, and network
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., SharePoint, Outlook, Visio, Excel, PPT, Word)
- Ability to interpret and define business user requirements into detailed specifications
- Strong ability to manage and work in a multi-cultural environment
- Strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills, root cause analysis
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills - able to interact with business stakeholders
- Possess and display sound judgment, initiative, flexibility, and detail-orientation
- Ability to develop and maintain business and technical documentation
- Organizational and project management skills a plus
- Experience with Good Manufacturing/Good Documentation Practices (GxP) processes preferred
- Experience interacting with and managing SaaS solutions and external vendors preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer science or related field
- 2-4 Years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst role or related experience required or Med Device or Pharma industry is a major plus
