Our direct current client is seeking a Technically savvy Program Manager to focus on the build out of new and leading edge technology around machine learning and AI. In this role you will be overseeing three key aspects of the overall Global product build of the Ascend Intelligence Services Product. This is a 6 month contract to start with strong potential to extend. •
Management of the Product Build Sprint Backlog for UK and US Sprints o Facilitate the running of sprints in the US, UK and future Geos on Sprints o Follow up to ensure requirements and status are updated on Jira Cards o Prepare status of backlog and progress in advance of sprint calls o Facilitate Sprint Calls for North America and UK for AIS • Management and Triage Customer Product Issues in the US and UK for AIS products o Assign priority to a daily set of issues on the product raised internally and by customers o Triage it to the right folks - platform, product support, product build etc. to ensure it is addressed o Manage priority of issues using digital tools o Ensure P1 issues are appropriately addressed within the SLAs • Program management of the operating Rhythm for UK, US swim lanes o Define overall milestones and deliverables with leadership and accountability around this o Manage the accountability in securing and providing status updates for various workstreams o Creating updates and artifacts which summarize the status of workstreams o Facilitate Steering groups and manage the operating rhythm o Follow up with stakeholders on specific actions and ensure they are completed KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, CAPABILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE: • Technically oriented experience with program management of software builds • Clear, structured and organized communicator, and ability to write detailed specifications • Experience with management of backlog of items and SLAs in product build/ customer success • Sector background likely to be from global financial services / fintech and data markets • Experience/ Interest with building data products/ analytics space bonus/ preferred Skills • Diligent meticulous and detailed oriented • Highly motivated and excited to part of something which will drive impact • Clear, structured and organized communicator • Good listener and ability to play back what was heard in a clear succinct manner • Ability to communicate with senior stakeholders to provide status and relay direction • Knowledge of agile project management tools - Jira • Ability to create clear structured written presentations - powerpoint • Ability to write clear written communications - word/ email • Digitally savvy and comfortable with learning new digital tools This person is ideally located in the pacific time zone however as long as you are willing to work in that time slot you can be located anywhere.
