- 6- 10 years Studio/Network television finance experience at a senior manager/director level
- Experience with production tax incentives and related filing process
- Working knowledge and experience with union/guild agreements and production payroll
- Proficiency in production accounting software (Smart Accounting, PSL), Movie Magic Budgeting, and Excel
- Ability to establish partnerships with producers and production team
- Proactive thinker who is able to prioritize and manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational, collaboration, problem-solving and communication skills
- CPA/MBA preferred
- Co-ordinate across multiple departments to build greenlight models for potential television series pick-ups
- Maintain detailed tracking of all television programming commitments and supporting documentation; across title pick-ups and breakage issued
- Reconcile updated scheduling calendars to inventory of content across fiscal years
- Forecast video programming costs and maintain explanations of drivers of change
- Build ad-hoc analyses to calculate impacts of various scheduling and production scenarios
- Assist in preparation of journal entries and video content disclosures
- Oversee timely cost reporting and analyze actuals vs budgets cost reports to ensure accuracy and quickly resolve any issues.
- Collaborate with Creative, Business Affairs, and Legal in the creation and vetting of production budgets and strategically resolve issues to ensure an efficient process.
- Review production cash flow projections and funding requests for accuracy and compliance with contracts.
- Oversee and coordinate financial production audits as necessary.
