DescriptionAccountemps is seeking an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk available for a short-term temporary-to-full-time vacancy on a quickly expanding team at a thriving company. The Accounts Payable Clerk will match, batch, and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. An individual in this position will need a high aptitude for computer software, be mindful of details and a self motivator. Complete full-cycle A/P
Execute additional tasks as needed
Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents
Provide support during internal and external audits
Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department
Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily
Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners
Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with company policies
Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling
Requirements
3+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred
Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
Expertise in Microsoft Excel
Account reconciliation experience desired
Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)
