Could that be YOU!The Benefits Manager will be responsible for the overall design, implementation, and administration of all benefits (e.g. medical, dental, life, disability, and 401(k) plans). The role will include managing vendor relationships, recommending and implementing process improvements and owning the annual open enrollment process.Key Responsibilities

Evaluates benefit programs and processes; recommend alternatives for the most effective utilization.

Supervise monthly insurance premium payments and benefit payroll deductions to ensure accuracy.

Manage relationships and serve as primary contact with benefit broker, advisors, TPAs, carriers and other vendors, ensuring high performance standards are met or exceeded. Periodically market available services.

Establish strong partnerships with HR Operations, Legal, Payroll, Finance and other colleagues; lead cross-functional projects to ensure compliance, streamline operations, and implement new benefit offerings.

Oversee compliance requirements and filings including PPACA, HIPAA, SARs, Form 5500 filings, non-discrimination testing, etc.

Manage and schedule employee benefits enrollment (new hire and annual).

Proactively communicate with management on any benefits issues that require escalation.

Be a resource to HR for any benefit related questions.

Partner with IT to monitor and troubleshoot weekly data feeds to carriers.

Coordinate with Payroll to oversee the processing and maintenance of annual taxable fringe benefit input and ACA reporting.

Monitor legislative changes regarding benefit-related laws such as COBRA, HIPAA, and FMLA and provide the HR department, Senior Management and employees with necessary updates.

Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

7-10 years of experience in Benefits administration.

Kronos WorkForce Ready or other benefits systems experience preferred.

Proficient PC skills with an intermediate to advance level in Excel, Word and Outlook.

Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, with flexibility and willingness to learn and take initiative on a variety of tasks and projects.

Ability to use good judgment and maintain a high level of confidentiality and sensitivity with a high attention to detail

Spanish speaking a plus.

Knowledge of state and federal benefits-related laws.

Fast learner with the ability to multi-task.

Self-motivated and detail oriented. A problem solver.

Approachable and comfortable working with a diverse group of employees and managers at all levels.

Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills.
