A SaaS company known for its highly collaborative teams that provide excellent training, mentorship, and the opportunity to use the newest Java technology is hiring a Java Software Engineer. In this role you will join a team of 8 engineers in West LA for a remote flexible role, most likely 1 to 2 days a week in office. The office provides a game room, views of Los Angeles, and a fully stocked kitchen to add to its startup-like culture at this well established company. In this role you will be building SaaS analytics products for their Fortune 500 clients. Their newly launched application receives thousands of responses per day and is continuing to scale. They use Java 13, Spring Boot, Rest API, Microservices, AWS, and PostgreSQL. Requirements for this role is a passion for learning and at least two years of professional experience with Java. Ang Spring or API experience would be helpful in the role as well, but not required for an interview. This role will be 70% new development on the newly released customer-facing application. - 2+ years of professional Java experience
- Experience with Spring Framework
- Rest API
- Database experience (Oracle or NoSQL)
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related degree
- Experience with Microservices
- Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
- Experience working on a high availability/scalable application
- 100% Hands-On Development
