The team works in a dynamic and global environment where innovating on behalf of our customers is at the heart of everything we do.The Digital Supply Chain Design team owns future-proofing the digital supply chain; defining publishing requirements for Prime Video, setting spec requirement roadmaps, improving partner delivery experience, and delivering programs that drive innovation and efficiency to enhance the global customer experience.We are looking for a Sr. Technical Program Manager who can help us shape the future of our digital supply chain architecture, with a passion to innovate, and tackle complex problems. As a Sr. Technical Program Manager you will be responsible for owning programs and driving with cross-function teams, defining and distributing new workflows, and partner with product and technology teams to define business requirements. The successful candidate should have experience with Interoperable Master Format (IMF) and Media Asset Management (MAM) to successfully deliver and drive updates within Prime Video workflows. You must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, be self-driven and deliver high quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Key job responsibilities
  • Define, prioritize and clarify roadmap and requirements for major Technical Program installment and launches
  • Lead change management process across Prime Video to ensure seamless roll-out of high-impact initiatives both with internal and external business partners.
  • Direct cross-functional teams and facilitate efforts to execute against business objectives, streamline processes, identify, qualify and present strategic issues to Amazon Studios and Prime Video leadership teams.
  • Develop presentations from conceptual information to completion as well as competitive analysis.
  • Craft key presentation materials (e.g. memos, decks) and use storytelling skills (verbal and non-verbal) to persuasively communicate recommendations.
  • Work effectively in a team environment and cross-functionally with Prime Video Catalog technology teams, engineers, Studio Productions, Analytics, Product, and Video Content Services.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of technical program management experience working directly with software engineering teams
  • Experience managing cross-functional programs and release schedules
  • Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design
  • Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps
  • Experience in Interoperable Master Format (IMF), data warehousing, and Media Asset Management (MAM)
  • Experience and understanding of digital media and/or digital video supply chain.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well across diverse groups, and influence and get things done
  • Demonstrate thought leadership
  • Proven Track record on taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • +7 years of experience working directly with engineering teams
