Full Stack Software Engineer - REMOTE

SUMMARY We are looking for a self starting, ambitious individual who is not afraid to question assumptions and with excellent written and oral communication skills. The candidate should have experience developing large data driven systems. The ability to be a good team player under tight deadline constraints in addition to ability to tackle problems with imaginative solutions is key to success in this position. We are seeking a strong Full Stack Engineer to help further develop an existing application on a brand new stack. As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be collaborating with the team on all aspects of the application. From ideation of new features to implementation and deployment of the application to the end users. This is an exciting opportunity to impact an application's full lifecycle and improve hundreds of internal customers work experience. Required Skills • 5+ years of Full Stack Experience, with emphasis on Back End • Experience in Java • Proficient in creating performant REST APIs • Knowledge of SOLR, ElasticSearch or other Similar Data Store • Proficient with GIT • Excellent oral and written English skill • Strong interpersonal skill and the ability to share/collaborate with peers Desirable Skills • Previous experience building performant data intensive application • Familiarity with Kubernetes or Docker • Familiarity with Bazel build tool (Preferred) • Experience in Spark & Scala (Plus) • Familiarity with Protobuff (Plus) • Experience creating data visualization (Plus) • Experience in Javascript (Plus) • Experience in React & Redux (Plus) DESCRIPTION • You will help with ideation, design, & feature development of Browser-based Self Service reporting tool. • You will help build out the new features & automation that are required to transition users to the new Application • You will help build and develop tools & processes to automate and streamline the production deployment cycle • You will collaborate with other engineers and maintain a release cycle in order to main high code quality and functionality To be considered, you must apply online now and submit your resume.
