Job Title -
Application Developer (Big Data Analytics) Type- Full Time Positions - 1 Location - (Cupertino, CA & unanticipated locations throughout the US) JD- - Develop analytical model and insights to help business partners understand the value of marketing initiatives, identify opportunities to increase lifetime value and retention, and provide recommendations to shape their investment decisions. Perform system analysis and design, unit and system integration testing, and implement Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) business systems, and manage projects using Big Data Technologies (SAP HANA & HDFS), SQL Scripting, Databases (SAP HANA, Microsoft SQL Server & Hadoop), SAP ERP, Snap Logic or similar ETL tool, Data Visualization Tools (Tableau & Power BI), and Defect Tracking Tool JIRA. Work closely with business users in setting the direction of current and future Integrations for Oracle. Review and analyze existing business processes and develop strategies for improving or optimizing them. Prepare detailed Requirement Specs & Functional Documentation with associated use cases, PowerPoint presentations, and other documents to explain requirements to development, support teams, partners and customers. Ensure the security, scalability, reliability of business-critical systems which includes managing priorities, analysis of platform metrics and balancing demand in a rapidly changing environment. Perform feature validation of functionality, QA in test script creation and automation, and assist with end-user documentation. Support and Professional Services staff. Work closely with application developers, other BSA’s and QA testers throughout the entire product life cycle. Support product rollouts and implementations as domain expert and/or primary business interface to partner domain experts. Work on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to take on big picture challenges. Requirement: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or related IT position. Must have 2 years of experience with Big Data Technologies (SAP HANA & HDFS), SQL Scripting, Databases (SAP HANA, Microsoft SQL Server & Hadoop), SAP ERP, Snap Logic or similar ETL tool, Data Visualization Tools (Tableau & Power BI), and Defect Tracking Tool JIRA. In the alternate, will accept 4 years of experience in the job offered or related IT position. Must have 2 years of experience with Big Data Technologies (SAP HANA & HDFS), SQL Scripting, Databases (SAP HANA, Microsoft SQL Server & Hadoop), SAP ERP, Snap Logic or similar ETL tool, Data Visualization Tools (Tableau & Power BI), and Defect Tracking Tool JIRA. Travel required to unanticipated locations throughout the US. Able to telecommute from home.
