Kelly Tech is seeking a Data Analyst for one of our top clients in the Bay Area. Length: 12 month contract Type: Contract W2-NO C2C, at this time we are not in the position to offer any type of sponsorships or VISA transfers for this position. Location: Cupertino, CA. Job Description: The Music Publishing team is looking for a Data Investigation Analyst who will support the various data pipelines that power our services. This role requires actively working with various cross functional teams.
Key Qualifications Proficiency in SQL and procedural SQL (preferably Postgres) Proficiency to work with both DML and DDL queries Strong ability to dig deep into data to troubleshoot issues, find and resolve discrepancies, and create concise summaries ETL expertise, focused on loading data from multiple sources into a destination system after a sequence of transformations Competency in Python or similar languages, as well as competency with UNIX shell and processes Accuracy and thorough attention to detail is crucial; ability to follow defined processes Outstanding organizational skills; the ability to deliver to a tight timeframe whilst maintaining quality of work Able to collaborate closely with multiple teams, both internally and externally Excellent written and verbal communication skills Able to focus in on the details whilst also seeing the big picture and being comfortable with a level of ambiguityDescription Maintenance and enhancement of existing data pipelines Investigate data format issues and data discrepancies in large volumes of potentially disparate data sets Identification of anomalies in large data sets present in files as well as databases Ensuring that the existing data processing jobs run on schedule. Investigate and fix in case of issues Maintain and possibly enhance the performance of existing processes when data volume grows rapidly Enhance the existing ETL processes as per business requirements Working with cross functional teams to define and implement data exchange interfaces Prioritization and self-management of operational tasks to support music publishing needs of our different service linesYou should know: Your safety matters!
