Business Systems Analyst - Contractor As a Business Systems Analyst on Retail's internal communication team, you'll be responsible for ensuring our technology enables our employees to deliver the best Retail customer experience in the world. You will quickly become a technical expert on Retail's internal connection tool, driving requirements writing, testing, and execution of critical features that ensure the platform is meeting the goals of our users and the business. Responsibilities • Create and manage the project plan for upcoming pre-defined releases, deliverables, dependencies, risks and mitigation plan. Build and manage release schedule staying on track on timelines and pre-defined milestones. • Elicit feedback for and write well-defined business requirements for new functionality • Compile reports on system functionality and usage • Work with users and cross functional partners to address technical support escalations • Track bugs and drive resolution through upcoming releases • Manage and prioritize feature backlog for the platform • Manage agendas, decisions and action items for key meetings • Provide project updates to relevant stakeholders • Partner with works councils prior to feature launches • Ensure seamless inception and implementation of new processes and procedures (documentation, testing, training, etc.) • Validate new platform features through testing. Define acceptance criteria, write test scripts/cases, execute tests, document all deficits, and create written reports showcasing the plan and status along the way

Qualifications • Experience managing the software development lifecycle of critical business platforms • Detail oriented and highly organized, excellent follow through • Highly motivated and must enjoy fast paced environment; ability to switch gears quickly • Proven creative problem solving history, ability to work well collaboratively and under pressure • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, anticipate needs and exercise independent/sound judgment • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to prioritize workload proactively and expeditiously • Committed to identifying and presenting innovative ideas to improve processes, tools, and performance • Experience with agile software development, Jira software, Drupl CMS, and Splunk are a plus
