Position Description:Qualified Test Technicians will be tasked with troubleshooting, repairing, and updating current or currently in use medical devices Prior experience as technician within tha medical environment is preferred. Any work that is completed must also be appropriately documented and reported against.Responsibilities:Skilled at both medical device product disassembly and reassembly, as well as electrical and mechanical workings of a device preferred
Test operates unit to locate defects, measure performance, determine need for adjustment, and verify specified operation.
Troubleshoots problem to board component level. Repairs, replaces, and reworks board components to current IPC standards.
Repairs, upgrades, calibrates, and tests various medical instruments and electrical parts using standard and non-standard electrical and mechanical test equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:Associates or Bachelor’s in the following areas are preferred: Biomedical Technician or Engineer or Electrical Technician or Engineer
Experience within the healthcare setting is desired
Experience in electronics, computer technology, or networking desired
Experience in maintenance, repairs, assembling, and disassembling equipment desired
Job Requirements:Technical Certificate required
Ability to assemble and disassemble equipment and devices
Possess strong time management skills and the ability to work under a deadline
Ability to work in a group setting and possess strong professional acumen
Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time
Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, kneeling and some lifting of equipment may be required of up to 50 pounds
