The IT Systems Functional is responsible for delivery of techno-functional solutions (enhancements, bug fixes) and system upgrades for the Logility Supply Chain Planning System. Specifically, this person needs to have techno-functional experience with different Logility modules namely Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Manufacturing Planning, Inventory Planning, etc.

Candidates need to have a specialty in production scheduling, raw materials and/or finished goods - system experience in Logility, Blue Yonder, RapidResponse or O9 on the supply planning side. If they have APO or ASCP experience, we would prefer experience in all 3 - production scheduling, raw materials and finished goods. Prefer candidates to work on-site, however remote is a possibility depending on candidate's experience level. This role will be responsible for the overall stability, configuration, and support of the Logility system which addresses the demand, supply, inventory and manufacturing planning functional needs within the Supply Chain Planning department. This role will primarily work with the on-site IT and strategic planning department users at corporate. This is a hands-on IT role requiring experience/expertise with Logility or other supply chain planning systems such as Demantra, OSCP, JDA, ASCP, etc. Responsibilities include an understanding of demand/supply planning business processes, Logility system capabilities, implementing new functionality and supporting users and business needs from an IT perspective.

  • Design, build, and implement techno-functional solutions which meet desired business requirements
  • Support Supply Chain Planning users in the execution of their daily business process including production support (troubleshooting), user training and timely resolution of systems issues
  • Assume a lead role in the cleansing and uploading of data from source systems to Logility via existing system interfaces and integration
  • Lead and actively participate in all phases of system implementation including requirements gathering, functional and technical design, system design and development, testing and roll-out and support.
  • Utilize disciplined software development methodology for continuous improvement and optimization of the Logility solution.
  • Provide daily user support of the Logility functional modules such as demand planner, supply planner, manufacturing planner during and post systems implementation
  • Engage internal technical/development team, system administrators to resolve system bugs and issues
  • Troubleshoot transaction and other system issues
  • Fully document all configurations, customizations, and interfaces to other systems
  • Open and manage defect request tickets with vendors
  • Preferred:
    • Master's Degree in Supply Chain, Transportation, Manufacturing, Computer Science or Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience
    • Experience may include a combination of work experience and education

      Education
    • Minimum Required:
      • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Transportation, Manufacturing, Computer Science or Engineering, related field, or equivalent work experience Experience may include a combination of work experience and education
    • Preferred Qualifications:
      • Experience in data management, reporting and business intelligence is preferred
      • APICS CPIM/CSCP certification or certification in progress preferred
    • Qualifications
    • Minimum Qualifications:
      • 6 Years - Experience with Logility or other supply chain planning solutions such as Demantra, OSCP, JDA, ASCP, etc
      • 6 Years - Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment
      • Prior experience with and exposure to Enterprise applications such as Oracle EBS, JDA, SAP etc. configuration and implementation methodology
      • Module design and configuration experience.
      • Ability to write SQL scripts
    • Organize user training including documentation for all Supply Chain Planning related Logility system modules.
    • 25% - on average travels 1 week out of the month
