This is an exceptional opportunity to do innovative work that means more to you and those we serve.The Business Consultant (HEALTHCARE CONTRACT MANAGEMENT) works within the Anthem enterprise ASO Contract Management team and will be responsible for serving as the liaison between the business and contract management database team to ensure business requirements are analyzed and implemented according to business needs. This role with also be responsible for conducting research and analytics while working with multiple business areas to gather the necessary information needed to support contract development and to leverage data and information housed in the contract management database for management reportingPrimary duties may include, but are not limited to:-Responsible for gathering critical information working with senior level associates to develop contract language
Requires critical problem-solving skills
Will have business knowledge of healthcare operations to manage business workflow processes
Strong project management skills to manage multiple unit initiatives
Serves as business lead
Liaison between business partners and database team
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Requires a BS/BA degree
8 - 10 years of business analysis experience, which should include analysis, project management, working knowledge of mainframe computer, hardware and operating systems
Or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background
Proficient in Word, Excel and SharePoint
Ability to travel maybe required
