DescriptionAccountemps is working with a national bank in the San Gabriel Valley and is looking to bring on a strong loan processor for their busy team on a temporary-to-full-time basis. The Loan Processor will be responsible for processing consumer real estate loans for the department with a volume of 22 - 25 loans at any given time. The national bank is looking for a loan processor that has strong communication skills, attention to detail and is up to date with loan processing. The company is also open to someone with a loan underwriting background. The national bank is looking to have this loan processor or loan underwriter start immediately.Please send all resumes to our Staffing Manager for immediate consideration!Mari-Lyn Sweis – mari.lyn.sweis@accountemps.comRequirementsDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Process and prepare mortgage loans (conventional and HELOC's, purchase and refinance) under various loan programs for closing in accordance with policies & procedures. Communicate documentation requirements, status and potential issues to all parties related to the loan transaction Schedule regular meetings or provide status reports to all parties related to the loan transaction Order and review title insurance, appraisals, loan payoffs, flood and tax certificates and surveys, and thoroughly review all documents before submission to underwriting. Ensure the Loan Origination System is accurate and up to date at all times throughout the loan transaction Set up files and order all necessary exhibits for appraisals and credit reports. Prepare and calculate income and assets thoroughly before submission to underwriting. Review loan related documents for accuracy and credit worthiness within a time frame established by management Review and communicate initial and final loan approval notifications within a time frame established by management Establish a professional relationship and good rapport with all parties related to the loan transactionREQUIREMENTS: 3+ years in the mortgage industry 3+ Mortgage Processing experienceAccountemps matches highly skilled professionals with accounting finance jobs at the best companies on a temporary and temporary-to-hire basis.
