Provider disputes and inquiries are received in writing and by phone and typically relate to Anthem-identified claim overpayments.Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Maintains high production standards. Plans for the day-to-day operational needs of the department. Resolves problems as they arise, to include resolving disputes and inquiries escalated by front line team members Implements and contributes to the development of operational improvements, to include reporting Creates and develops partnerships with other departments including Collections, Claim Payment Integrity, Claims, Customer Service, and Provider Solutions. Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.Requires 3-4 years’ experience with operations, financial reporting and analysis, audit guidelines, budgeting and multi-state operations and processes; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.Effective communication skillsExperience providing customer service to external customersThree years of management experience preferred.Anthem, Inc. isranked as one of America’s Most Admired Companies among health insurers byFortune magazine and is a 2018 DiversityInc magazine Top 50 Company forDiversity.
