City of Hope is a National Cancer Institute designated Comprehensive Cancer Center and a founding member of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network, an alliance of the nation’s leading cancer centers that develops and institutes standards of care for cancer treatment.Position Summary:Under the guidance of both the Center for International Medicine and the Marketing and Communications departments’ leadership, the Program Manager – CIM (Marketing) supports the Center for International Medicine in realizing the vision of providing access to patients outside the United States to City of Hope’s world-renowned medical care.The Program Manager will assist in developing and implementing marketing strategy and tactics targeting the international markets determined by the CIM. In this capacity, he/she will work within the Marketing and Communications department to engage required expertise and resources to undertake initiatives in China and other international locations. He/she will be tasked with managing day-to-day activities with our partnered marketing agencies and key vendors leveraging relevant marketing tactics and content developed for domestic purposes.This role is responsible for the development and execution of one or more simultaneous projects and services related to the marketing initiatives in China and abroad. Collaborates with leadership on designing, analyzing, and implementing marketing plans to desired target audiences, along with development of the marketing strategy to provide those services. A primary goal of the CIM in collaboration with Marketing and Communications is the development and execution of a brand strategy, and development and execution of international CIM marketing programs/projects for China that is culturally-relevant and positions COH as a leading destination for cancer care among qualified patients from China.Key Responsibilities include :Develop and manage international programs that contribute to CIM goals. Assist in the development of marketing strategy and tactics for China and other countries working with our collaborators.Develop and ensure delivery of the program scope of work, budget, and timelines.Manage internal and external relationships as needed to deliver program services, and milestones with collaborations organizations. Manage day-to-day activities with our marketing agency partners and key vendors. Manage agency project budgets and timeline to ensure expectations are met.Develop and manage the business analytical framework to support international strategies and business planning for the Center for International Medicine (CIM), covering both international patient services and advisory/venture services. Develop and execute CIM International Marketing Programs/Projects with collaborating partners.Plan and establish the marketing infrastructure for the international medicine program. Analyze and pinpoint the gap of current system designs and advocate and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to create solutions aligned with CIM analytical needs, understanding the nuances of multiple patient data and multicultural marketing trends. Prepare marketing presentations for both an internal and external audience.Translate written materials between Mandarin and English as feasible, and proof in-language marketing content to ensure messaging is on target and culturally-relevant.Working with agency to manage COH in-language website pages and WeChat to ensure proper content and cultural context.Contribute to the design and implementation of telemedicine marketing tools for destination patients – virtual visits, remote 2nd opinion, e-consults or other services as is feasible.Create financial/business dashboards and special reports or presentations so that leadership and all staff can grasp CIM performance and create visualization tools in charts, spreadsheets, and presentation.Manage, coordinate, and support CIM special events such as Spread the Hope, Symposiums with collaborators, Webinars, and others as needed.Attend relevant marketing forums and other health-related industry events.Participate in relevant departmental meetings in both the CIM and Marketing and Communications.Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:

Bachelor’s Degree

Minimum of four years of marketing/program manager related experience.

Fluency in Mandarin required (spoken and written).

Ability to develop and deliver compelling presentations using data, graphics, and effective storytelling to communicate insights and implications for decision making.

Preferred education experience and skills:

MBA.

Multi-lingual/multicultural marketing experience a plus.

Prior experience in consumer marketing. Health care experience a plus.

Fluency in Cantonese a plus.
