Business Systems Analyst- Remote for a

Contract assignment with one of our premier

Human Resources clients in

Dublin, CA.

Responsibilities :
  • Responsible for implementing business and system requirements for technology solutions, directly with leadership and individuals from various functions and levels throughout the company, as well as external consulting/vendor organizations.
  • Partner with the company's subject matter experts of our current state processes; this person will assist in configuring assigned Oracle HCM modules and troubleshoot implementation issues to resolution through-out the lifecycle of the project.
  • Engages and contributes thought leadership during Enterprise Resource (ERP) and Human Capital Management (HCM) planning design workshops
  • Exhibits advanced technical skills to assess design decisions cascaded from the company's leaders and Oracle vendors and completes configurations in the assigned modules, managing statuses through Jira
  • Proactively identifies and communicates gaps and workarounds where requirements can be met without custom development and assists in the determination of the justification for investment where needed
  • Provides input on functional design specifications, system requirements such as user interfaces, reports, data conversions, interfaces to other applications, security impacts, and other non-functional requirements
  • Drives and performs data cleanup, extraction, validation, conversion, and reconciliation
  • Manage and support the preparation and execution of deployment/cutover plans and training to the business users and support teams
  • Support the company with the development of training documentation as designs are finalized - consult with training & change management partners for document storage, resource updates and to support effective communication plans

Required

Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree desired; or equivalent education and/or related work experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in an HR Systems Analyst role or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience contributing to HR system or analytics projects or other system implementation-related roles
  • Experience in the implementation of Oracle Recruiting and Talent Management modules, including the ability to review configuration workbooks and establish fields in new environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including knowledge of math, logic, programming
  • Ability to explain ideas and technical terms clearly and concisely
  • Ability to complete data analysis by building queries in tools such as Query Manager, and applying Excel-based formulas & statements such as AND, IF and VLOOKUPs
  • Working knowledge of cyber-security and compliance requirements
  • In depth understanding of software development process stages and key activities
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Project management skills
  • Minimal travel required

  • Experience functioning as an administrator to Taleo Enterprise is strongly preferred
  • Experience functioning as the administrator for SuccessFactors is desired, but not required
