Job Description: Job Title: Cloud Architect (AWS + Azure)Job Type: 6 months contract to hireJob Location: Hybrid in Dublin, CA We are seeking a hands-on IT Operation Architect - Core Systems / Cloud who is skilled in troubleshooting complex technical issues. The successful candidate will assist in developing the Corporate IT Operations architecture strategy, deliver strategic solutions and provide last level support for the IT Operations team. Functioning as a senior member of the corporate IT Operations team, this role will report into the Sr Director - IT Operations & Digital Workplace. Responsibilities:Collaborate with cross functional stakeholder to understandrequirements and use technical architecture expertise to design effective solutions to solve challenging problemsEducate and influence stakeholders and engineering team on effective cloud solutions and best practicesDesign and document technical specifications, configurations andcustomizations for SaaS, PaaS, IaaS solutions and systemsintegrationsDevelop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures and core system / cloud policiesUnderstand IT application portfolio, IT and business priorities, and success measures to design implementation architectures and AWS solutions to support PaaS, DevOps & Advanced Application codingOwn projects, solutions, and key responsibilities within a larger business initiative and communicates project status, activities, and achievements with internal stakeholdersPerform as subject matter expert (SME) on Cloud (AWS, Azure, O365) and core systems /applications /processes / within the infrastructureMaintains the company’s adherence to technology requirements for security & privacy.Drive planning and execution of identity management roadmaps and technology enhancements.Identify opportunities to improve and streamline the overall infrastructureand its performanceQualifications:.BS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent10+ years of experience combined with large-scale projects in cloud technology, infrastructure architecture, compute and networking architecture, edge connectivity, and IT operations automationStrong technical experience with AD/Azure AD, SMTP, Exchange On-line / Office 365 - Proofpoint Enterprise Protection Experience with TAP - O365 PowerShell and Graph API experience - Familiarity with Email Authentication services like SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and DNS record usage for email services - Worked with Security Compliance services in O365Extensive knowledge and experience in designing, deploying, and managing AWS network infrastructure ((VPC, Transit gateway, Load Balancers etc.). Proficient in creating and developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts - utilizing industry standard tools (Example: Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, etc.) Building CI/CD processes and pipelines to enable 1-click and self-managed deployments. Experience with big data systems, analytics, containerized microservices, serverless functions, and event-driven architecture.
