JavaScript Angular, Front End Developer for an exciting financial SAAS company in the Bay Area (REMOTE)Angular is key, but is open to other frameworks like React. Must have good understanding/knowledge on the backend with RESTful/API’sAs part of the SAAS engineering team, you'll work in a dynamic, open environment, employing the latest techniques and best practices in back-end engineering, and utilizing the best-in-class tools and frameworks building a highly distributed and scalable platform.Responsibilities:
- As a Senior Front-End Developer, you will develop, support, maintain, and implement web interfaces.
- Take charge end-to-end - understand requirements, technical design, implement, test and deploy products/features.
- Present and defend architectural, design, and technical choices to internal and external audiences.
- Own your application - responsive, fault tolerant, upkeep, hygiene and high-quality.
- Write lean code and documentation - express through UML, comments, git commit comments and structured code.
- Be motivated and enthusiastic, be ready to learn and experiment always.
- Iterate - Check-in every day, break large implementations into small deployment-ready-components.
- Be vocal: set and manage expectations, communicate across functions and roles, drive collective improvements in technology and process areas.
- Coach and guide junior engineers.
- 6+ years of software development experience in building responsive and intuitive web applications for enterprise software products.
- Design and implement front-end architecture that is aligned with business and technology objectives.
- Development experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS3, Angular.js , Bootstrap Framework.
- Strong experience in Integrating with REST API on the backend.
- Ability to write frontend unit test cases.
- Experience with common developer tools Docker, GIT, IntelliJ.
- Prior experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Start-up environment experience will be a plus, although not mandatory.
