Description Robert Half is currently seeking an experienced, organized Senior Accountant to join their team for a permanent opportunity in the Dublin, California area. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Administer Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Review financial information such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc. and present analysis in a clear manner
Work with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests
Engage in various department-wide initiatives
Commitment to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Provide assistance in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external
Prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Provide monthly accounting closure procedures and deliverables, which includes journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP Requirements
Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA designation highly preferred.
2+ public accounting experience in a fast-paced environment; at least 1 year of GL experience preferred.
Detail oriented and dependable. able to communicate data succinctly and accurately.
Strong proficiency in the use of MS Office products, specifically Excel.
Strong organizational skills; understand directions and work with appropriate levels of supervision.
