Since many of the bread mixing shifts start between Midnight - 3:00am, it’s important our bakers are dependable, have open availability and can function well in the early morning hours. This is a full time position. Your daily duties will include preparing artisan breads and baked goods from scratch daily; mix, scale ingredients, and bench dough to prepare it for baking; load carts and racks with product; lift and stack flour; operating all kitchen machinery including ovens, proofers, slicers, mixers, and dough dividers; taking guest orders by phone and in-person; and promoting the store's baked goods while maintaining a clean, sanitary and attractive working environment. Must be at least 18 years of age.You should meet the following minimum requirements:
At least 18 years of age
Possess basic math skills
Have intermediate product knowledge including knowledge of temperature, chemical reactions, and bakery products
Have a passion for putting out a great product consistently
A positive attitude is essential!
