As the Manager, Infrastructure Management within this organization, you will be a pivotal member of the team - curating the intake of highest value portfolio of work for the Infrastructure & Cloud Services organization. This role is positioned to have positive impact on the IT function through a focus on connecting people with information, timely and accurate invoice payments, and continually championing compliance for our organization. Your leadership will shine as Infrastructure & Cloud Services pivots to deliver with agility, transparency, and code. This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Strategic Planning & Performance for the Infrastructure & Cloud Services Organization. We are looking for leaders that are energized by creative and critical thinking, building and sustaining high-performing teams, getting results the right way, and fostering continuous learning.Your WorkIn this role, you will:- Establish, manage, and continuously improve Enterprise Service Business professional discipline - including people, process, and technology.
- Provide advice and leadership regarding Enterprise Service Business goals, initiatives, and structure.
- Support Enterprise Service Business Management and Infrastructure & Cloud Services Leadership Team in management and implementation of tactical change initiatives.
- Lead the Infrastructure & Cloud Services Audit and Compliance, Infrastructure Management, Invoice Processing, and Communication team members.
- Oversee the Infrastructure & Cloud Services Audit and Compliance activities, supporting an established team to champion preventative design, as well as swift closure of identified compliance risk.
- Oversee the accurate and timely processing of Blue Shield of California invoices for the Information Technology function.
- Collaborate with various IT and business stakeholders to meet identified business outcomes.
- Lead the team through a shift to Agile working principles, with a propensity for automation, standardization, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Drive performance by managing, mentoring, and guiding the professional and technical development of team members.
- Manage consumption of Infrastructure & Cloud Services resources and provide metrics and financial reporting to forecast demand and inform budget administrator(s) of financial impact.
- Provide oversight for infrastructure life cycle management planning and procurement.
- Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Requires at least 7 years of prior relevant experience
- Excellent business relationship, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to support, engage, and execute in multiple functions
- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Preferred working knowledge of IT infrastructure and cloud technologies
- Strong leadership and organizational skills: self-directed, and capable of managing collaboratively across multiple functions to achieve results through others
- Ability to express ideas clearly and persuasively in oral, written, and presentation forms
