Role provides Infrastructure project management support and leadership for a variety of IS PMO projects including [company group] initiatives and supporting programs that include but are not limited to Disaster Recovery and Capacity Management for strategic initiatives. Project responsibilities include primary responsibility for the end to end deployment of approved infrastructure projects within the designated fiscal year and budget constraints. This position will also have responsibilities managing customer expectations and bringing together various groups within [company] to pro- vide infrastructure solutions including compute, storage and network services, and related infrastructure. You will be coordinating delivery, installation, and related project management of system engineering support leading to the on time hand off of built out infrastructure to the end customer. Key Qualifications Strong organizational and prioritization skills and a desire to learn A strong sense of responsibility to complete the projects end to end with least supervision A positive can-do attitude and ability to work under pressure with multiple teams and deadlines. Experience deploying and maintaining in cross-platform environment (Linux, AIX, Solaris, NetApp, Hitachi, etc.) Basic technical knowledge of servers, routers, switches, storage Basic technical knowledge of Data Centers, power and space constraints and requirements Knowledge on Infrastructure deployment workflow Basic knowledge of reading HW monitoring data Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously Proven ability to manage conflicting stakeholder interests effectively Highly effective technical communications skills (verbal and written) Familiarity with various project management methodologies (waterfall, agile, scrum, etc) Must be able to think and act both strategically and tactically while balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment 5+ years of increasing responsibilities within a multi-location organization Ability to identify and resolve conflicts, inter-dependencies and program issues quickly and efficiently 5+ years of increasing responsibilities within a multi-location organization Project Management and technical certification(s) preferred (PMP, ITIL, etc.)
