job summary:
Randstad Technologies is looking for an Analytics QA Implementation Engineer (full-time, salary, regular). This role is focused on Adobe Analytics with basic Manual QA testing through Charles Proxy. Familiarity with Jira ticketing system will be critical as well. This person will be managing many OTT platforms (AppleTV and Roku, etc). They will help monitor the JIRA tickets, validating analytics calls through Adobe in Charles Proxy, trouble shoot as needed. Data is central to measuring all aspects of the business, and critical to its operations and growth. - Managing JIRA tickets across stages of the product life cycle. Familiarity with agile is a plus.
- Evaluates testing processes and methods to ensure consistency based upon standards
- Regularly interacts with program managers across products and platforms
- Executes automated/manual tests to compare results with requirements, to verify test requirements, to identify defects, and to ensure compliance strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in large data environment
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience
- QA Experience validating analytics calls
- Experience with web analytics (Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics)
- Minimum 2 years of progressively related years of experience in QA engineering.
- "Black box" experience testing web, mobile and OTT applications, "white box" a plus.
- Hands-on experience managing JIRA tickets
- Experience in writing and executing test cases.
- Experience testing mobile and OTT devices.
- A self-starter with demonstrated initiative - able to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
- Able to take direction and work collaboratively.
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of the continuous integration process.
- Excellent analytical, debugging and technical problem solving skills
