Our highly respected client is in need of an experienced Data Analyst with advanced Excel skills to join their team. The ideal professional will need to be local to the general El Segundo area, however this position is remote. Additionally, this is a contract role but for the right person there is a possibility of it being extended or converted to a perminante role. - Ownership of Weekly KPI reports, Monthly Financial and Cash Forecast models, Long Range Plans, and materials for Board presentations as well as various ad hoc reporting needs.
- Continuously seeking ways to improve overall financial insights by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Proactively provide value-added feedback to influence key business decisions and improve current processes from both an operational and strategic viewpoint.
- Interface with the business leads to confirm assumptions used for budgeting and forecasting as well as provide input to assist with inventory planning.
- Assist the Accounting department with the coding of invoices.
- B.A./B.S. in STEM field preferred
- Must possess exceptional quantitative, analytical, critical thinking and communication skills
- Must be self-directed and be able to thrive in a and quick turn-around working environment
- Advanced Data modeling skills (hands-on experience + theoretical understanding)
- Passion to continuously provide exceptional customer service to all internal business partners.
- Highly analytical and quantitative-minded; a self-starter and ability to manage projects independently.
- Very detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain and keep track of multiple information sources.
- Great interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; comfort with advanced modeling
- Experience in Fashion Industry is not required but is a plus
- Experience with Tableau is not required but is a plus
- Advanced Excel skills
