- Healthcare Experience - preference for radiology
- Understanding of exam code mapping
- Excel guru (Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPS)
- Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) certified
- Health Information Management background with leadership experience
- Technical/data expertise required, process expertise preferred
- Maintain Procedure Master accuracy and consistency and develop and support clear SLAs
- Working knowledge of radiological exams, data, and IT
- Determined attitude - no such thing as good enough and won t stop until it s done, accurate and complete
- Roll out an enterprise wide procedure master framework, with a focus on accuracy of procedure codes, mapping of procedures codes and RVU s as they apply to radiology.
- Manage the Exam Code Mapping team
- Maintain and propagate procedure master service through modifications to organization behavior policies and standards, principles, metrics, processes, related tools and architecture
- Review and maintain the accuracy of the procedure master, mapping procedure codes, and clean-up activities
- Facilitate an enterprise roadmap including strategic priorities for development of information-based capabilities
- Define roles and responsibilities of the procedure master to ensure clear accountability for the accuracy and maintenance of procedures
- Serve as a liaison between IT, Clinical Applications and Practice Excellence to ensure that procedure master related business requirements are clearly defined, communicated, well understood and considered as part of operational prioritization and planning
- Facilitate the development and implementation of procedure master quality standards and adoption requirements across the enterprise
- Define indicators of performance, quality metrics and ensure compliance with procedure master policies, standards, roles and responsibilities, and adoption requirements
- Provide progress reports to Director of Data Governance and VP of Practice Excellence
- Aware of CMS updates and process for integrating practice-wide
- Highly detail-oriented
- High degree of proficiency using Excel for both process management and analysis
- Able to understand how multiple components and departments (clinical IT, data architecture, analytics) fit together and able to coordinate changes in all to achieve holistic solution
- Good process management skills
- Other responsibilities as determined by the Director, Data Governance
